Association HERA XXI Announced as Recipient of AMAZE Global Impact Award.
The award will support HERA XXI deliver AMAZE’s animated videos to Georgia and increase access to free sexual health information and resource.
AMAZE.org, a project which harnesses the power of digital media to provide young adolescents around the globe with medically accurate, age-appropriate, affirming, and honest sex education they
can access directly online, today announced Association HERA XXI as the recipients of the Global Impact Awards.
The Global Impact Awards support organizations in adapting and disseminating AMAZE videos – animated sex education videos that teach kids about healthy relationships, development, sexuality,
and how to prevent HIV, STIs, and unintended pregnancy.
Association HERA XXI NAME will work with AMAZE to increase acces to free sexual health information and resource among the youth.
AMAZE was created by a coalition of sex education experts, and since launch, videos have been used in 180 countries. The AMAZE team works to expand AMAZE’s reach internationally through
partnerships with non-governmental organizations, multilateral agencies, and Ministries of Education, Health and Youth around the world to translate and adapt AMAZE videos. 11 videos have
already been adapted into the Georgian language within the framework of the partnership.
Association HERA XXI is AMAZE’s exclusive partner in the Caucasus region with an authorized video adaptation right. The animated videos will be adapted into Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijani languages.
