Advocacy at the local level
One of the advocacy priorities of the association is to support the development of targeted action plans and policies tailored to the needs of the local community at the level of local governments, the introduction of programs and municipal services in terms of sexual and reproductive health and rights, raising the awareness of representatives of the local municipality, gender councils and women's rooms, and creating a positive environment. to Srju.
The main approach to advocacy at the local and national level is evidence-based advocacy, and the main tool is coalition and network work, strengthening the skills of community leaders to advocate for issues related to sexual and reproductive health and rights.
"Hera Twenty One" leads the "Coalition for Reproductive Health and Rights", which was created with the initiative and support of the association. The coalition brings together up to 15 non-governmental organizations, independent experts and media representatives and advocates on local SRH policy issues.
Advocacy at the national level
At the national level, the association contributes to the improvement of the country's social and economic environment in relation to sexual and reproductive health and rights issues. Universal access to sexual and reproductive health services, promotion of maternal health, comprehensive education about reproductive health and healthy lifestyle, improvement of children's legal status in terms of sexual and reproductive health, through advocacy of youth policy and increasing the awareness and readiness of decision-makers regarding sexual and reproductive health are priorities for the organization.
The target groups of the organization's advocacy at the national level are the representatives of the legislative and executive authorities at the national level.

The priority of the association HERA XXI is to improve the social, economic, legislative and political environment in the direction of sexual and reproductive health and rights, it should be noted that:
▪On the initiative and support of the association, a coalition of non-governmental organizations was created under the name – “Coalition for Reproductive Health and Rights”, which unites up to 15 non-governmental organizations, independent experts and media representatives.
▪ Association “HERA XXI” uses international monitoring tools CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women), ICCPR (International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights); UPR (Universal Periodic Review) and actively advocates to promote the implementation of international obligations.
▪In order to raise the awareness of the broad masses of society and provide comprehensive information about sexual and reproductive health and rights, a TV studio called “Repro Studio” was established in 2015, which prepares the TV program “Alternative Thought”. The program is broadcast every Saturday at 18:00 on the TV company “Voice of Abkhazia”.
