On May 20-21, in Tbilisi, thirteen young people took peer educators training to share their knowledge and experience with their age-mates through awareness-raising sessions.
The overarching objective of the conference was to demonstrate importance of sexuality education as integral part of health care increasing public awareness, which is an important element of healthy development of children and young people.
Association representatives informed the girls about the organization’s activities, importance of volunteering, needs of young people in Georgia and services available in the association.
The event aimed at networking volunteers and organizations and promoting cooperation between them.
The meeting started with introduction of the organization and presentations dedicated to the role of volunteers, needs of young people in Georgia, studies conducted by the association, and reproductive health issues.
